The story of Strötzel Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG began when the partners Morsch and Strötzel founded the company.
At that time, the company’s main focus was chrome-plating piston rods and cylinder liners for the German oil industry.
Although the two business partners parted ways, Strötzel Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG continued to operate under Mr. Strötzel’s leadership.
With the introduction of the “electroless nickel” coating process in 1981, the company expanded its range of services, making it possible to apply uniform coatings even to components with complex shapes.
When the company was acquired by the Parzer Group in 2001, it marked the start of an exciting new chapter.
